boy (noun): a noise with dirt on it.
When we moved to the DC area less than a year ago, Charlie was barely crawling, but I vividly remember thinking about how fun it would be to bring him to the park to run and romp around once he could walk. Now we romp at the park at least once a day and it's more fun that I could have even imagined. This boy is fiercely independent, but also has a tenderness that just melts me every time he buries his sweet head into my legs or hugs me tight while he pats my back. He really is evolving into a little boy-man in front of my eyes each day...

What a blessed little boy! He is a delight to watch grow up and see his impact on all of our lives.
(04.10.12 @ 12:02 PM)love it! i feel like the one of him standing on the steps really shows his independent spirit and also his curious side and i also love that cute little wrinkled nose smile in the one next to it....that is so totally him! seriously, i think i am going to write a letter to the air force and tell them to reconsider this whole moving all the way to north dakota mess. you know i do know people who know people....
