Memory... is the diary that we all carry about with us. ~Oscar WildeI'm organizing all my taxes (finally!) and as much as I've been dreading this tedious process, I must confess that reviewing and organizing my purchase history from last year is bringing back so many sweet memories. Each receipt reminds me of exactly what was going on at that time....
that perfect California evening and dinner with Greg and Nicole at Tender Greens,
how good that conversation with Ross was while I was driving across New Mexico right after getting that darn speeding ticket,
pumping gas in the snow at the Loaf n' Jug right outside Woodland Park after leaving Lost Valley,
the intoxicating smell of jasmine in the air as I sipped cappuccino in Pasadena and was inspired by Richard and Kirsten,
seeing hundreds of windmills on the drive from LA to 29 Palms,
watching the rain from window while I edited photos at Fido's cafe in Nashville...
and the list goes on.
So, there is my random rambling for the day. Take a moment to revel in one of your memories from this month last year... what do you remember?
oh those windmills were fabulous!! xo
(03.25.11 @ 08:21 PM)ames, your heart is beautiful. one of my favorite memories is the nervous anticipation as i drove from charlotte to fayetteville to meet charlie! granted it was technically 2011, but only by a few hours :)
(04.04.11 @ 03:26 PM)ahhhhhh! love this! my favorite is the one in the lower left corner. he looks like he just pooted and was like "what was that?" :)
(03.22.11 @ 01:09 PM)To jump in on the "my favorite is..."convo... I LOVE the one in the top right corner. He looks like he cracked a really good joke and he's pretty darn pleased with himself. Can't wait to meet this bugger in person. Tell him to stop growing until I meet him. OK? ok.
