Luis Costales is Jenn's brother, so not only do they also know the Toohey family, but he also owns an interactive agency here in Charlotte and knows all about BooneOakley. It just makes me smile about how small this big world is sometimes.
Luis, Courtney and little Luis also make me smile. We took an awesome lap around SouthEnd this morning and for a toddler that isn't even 2 yet, little Lu sure does have a big personality. Oh goodness, the shot with the hat just gets me... oh yeah, and the eye lashes too. Why is it that the boys always get the luxurious lashes? Anyways, I know that it was a successful session since little Lu was so tired by the end of it, all he wanted to do was snuggle. Good times were had by all.

Well hello there little Paul Lovin. Yes, this little guy has one of the coolest last names ever.
So that being said, Paul was less than 2 weeks old when we enveloped him in fuzziness up and brought him outside for his first photo debut. I wanted to capture his handsome tiny newness, so it just seemed right for the images to feel snuggly, close and intimate. It's clear to see that this little man has opened up a new world of love for his parents and I know that they will continue to bind together as a family with each passing day.
Oh these are so precious! Great job Amy and Leslie for having such a precious boy!! :)

Moving to Fayetteville has really opened my eyes to the sacrifices and realities of being a military spouse looks like. You would think that I would have absorbed this a little more since I've watched my brother and his incredible wife over the past 12 years, but I feel like I stand more and more in awe each day that I am here... living it, experiencing it myself. These families are incredible for what they give.
The last time I met Stacy was back in May. (Click here and find the gorgeous b/w baby!) She was on her own with a newborn and an energetic toddler... since her husband was deployed. So this session was different, it had such a joyful feeling, despite the somewhat dreary weather...because they are all back together again. One big beautiful family. Together.
your amazing!!!! :) these are awesome. what an adorable family!
(10.28.09 @ 09:21 AM)Lots of thought and prayer went into this little man's name, so I thought that it was appropriate to share the meaning. Ethan was welcomed into the world by an adoring (and perfectly adorable) set of parents and an older brother and sister which you saw here just a few short months ago. We didn't have very long, but I love these shots that we snagged of him because even though he is only a couple weeks old in these photos, he is showing off his full range of emotions/expressions. How could you not fall head over heels in love with a face like this?
These are the sweet moments that I can't resist.

Amy Free..you make me SMILE!!
