Hello and welcome. I'm a lifestyle/editorial photographer now based Grand Forks, North Dakota of all places. After starting my business in Charlotte, NC and bouncing around the Southeast, we are embarking on a new adventure in a a whole new part of the country. My goal is to capture the beauty of life as you know it. My passion is to create images that celebrate life and emotion with a fresh and modern style. I'm happy to share my journey with you here on my site.

Available for travel assignments and adventure, always.
Yes, he spent some time being a cowboy at Lost Valley Ranch after graduating from college and studying Music Business at Belmont.... but now Jason is pursuing his true passion for music and will be releasing his first album early next year. My heart is happy to see anyone pursue what they truly love, and it is clear that Jason is jumping into this with his whole heart. I truly do believe that when you chase after what makes you feel alive, the rewards are limitless. So stay tuned to hear more from Jason and if you happen to live in Athens, GA -- check out some of his shows... find him on facebook. This is not something to be missed if you like good music.

Plus, anyone who can make a ukulele look cool is most certainly the real deal.

Right before our move I was delighted to be able to squeeze in the Southern Proper fall catalog shoot down in Savannah, GA. I've never been to Savannah and although it was hotter than sin, I couldn't help but appreciate the Southern charm of the city and how it worked really well with the look we were shooting for. Plus, the more I work with the Southern Proper team... the more impressed I am with their overall vision for this fabulous brand. And they make a long day of shooting really just plain fun, with the help of several iced coffees as well:)

We all also laughed as we thought back on the last shoot I did for the Spring catalog because I was 8 months preggo with Charlie boy. My how much can change in just a few short months!

So, again, a big thank you to the whole SP team for helping make these awesome images come to life!

"The sight of that horse did something to me I've never quite been able to explain. He was more than tremendous strength and speed and beauty of motion. He set me dreaming."
- Walt Morey

This is one remarkable lady.
Her design work is stunning.
Her heart is with kids and horses.
Her connection with her own horse is inspiring.

Life is uncharted territory. It reveals it's story one moment at a time.

- Leo Buscaglia

Erin is approaching that huge transition in life from high school to college and beyond. Just walking, talking, laughing and shooting with her filled me with that sense of adventure that comes along with that season of life... and OH, oh to enjoy each season for what it is because it all passes in a blink and yet it all builds to create the story of who we are and the lives we lead. I know that I'm doing my best to enjoy this season of life (upcoming mommyhood!) knowing that it too will pass in a blink and I want to be able to look back and be proud of the story I'm weaving. All the best to you miss Erin as your embark on YOUR adventure!

Culling through some of the Towne and Reese catalog images this morning, I just couldn't help but share these 2 that I happen to be in love with. The fact that Emily, the model, is impossibly gorgeous doesn't hurt either.... seriously?!? GOR-GEOUS. She is one of the nicest, coolest people to boot as well! Anyways, the blessing of shooting for a brand is that we capture tons and tons of images, the curse is that many of them are edited for various reasons. So, this is my chance to let these 2 images have their shining glory :)
